I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and hope you find the information on this website informative.
I am appointed as Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the renowned Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Grinstead with a specialist interest in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction and a core member of the West Kent Head & Neck multidisciplinary team. I am also an Executive Officer of European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS).
I have a keen interest in promoting higher education and regularly lecture nationally and internationally and hold workshops in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) and implantology. I am the Training Programme Director of OMFS that covers Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
I undertook my advanced dental implant training in South Africa, USA and the United Kingdom. I undertake complex implant cases using the renowned Straumann & Bicon implant systems and for patients suffering bone loss where bone grafts and sinus lifts are possible to allow for implant placement.
I have contributed to a number of publications ranging from Head & Neck Cancer Research to Litigation in NHS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and also the section editor for the Journal of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography and scuba diving in various parts of the world. My other hobbies include golf, running, cycling and watching my kids play sport. Having lived next door to the Wimbledon lawn tennis club, a keen interest in tennis is understandable although I am far from centre court material!
